This week, Year 1 went on their very own adventure to the Sealife London Aquarium which is on London’s Southbank near Waterloo station. The children were visiting the centre as part of their curriculum unit ‘Recycling in Action’, with a focus on our school thread of sustainability. The children were in awe of all that they saw including many different fish, turtles, sharks and even penguins!
Year 1 also noticed the damage and destruction that happens when plastic enters the rivers, seas and oceans.
Before heading home back to school, the children enjoyed a picnic in the park. As always, they were great Stratford Manor ambassadors demonstrating the values of our school.
