For the first two weeks of Autumn 2, all classes from Reception to Year 6 took part in our English and Art theme of ‘Journeys’.
This year’s project was based on the idea of story journeys. Each year group used a slightly different process and colour scheme to create a design to represent some features of particular journeys. The themes varied from representing the journey in a fairy tale in EYFS to representing the emotions of a journey as a refugee in Year 6. The designs were them presented on the soles of disposable slippers and are now hung in the middle hall.
