Y4 / Y5 Celebrate International Women’s Day at Eastlea
Last week, 16th March 2022, the girls of Year 4 and Year 5 were invited to attend a morning of fun-filled activities empowering the voice and looking at the importance of women around the world. This was to celebrate International Women’s Day which was March 8.
The children participated in different activities throughout the morning. From a fitness circuit, a self-defence class, sewing badges with inspirational words to finding facts about remarkable women around the world from diverse backgrounds.
Everyone really enjoyed the morning and left Eastlea feeling inspired.
