As part of their PHSE topic – Democracy , our Year 4 pupils visited the Houses of Parliament.
They learnt about the history of the Houses as well as the democratic features. They also visited very important rooms including the House of Commons and stood above the Front Bench where the Prime Minister and the Cabinet normally sit.
Children have thoroughly enjoyed their learning and have been engaged and curios to the point where they are continuing to ask questions.
Their visit was followed by a virtual visit where they could ask their questions that they had though about since visiting.
