On Monday, Manor competed in the year 4/5/6 Newham cricket finals at Newham Leisure Centre. Despite having a mixed aged team who haven’t played together as a team before, the fight for 2nd place in our group went down to the final game against Tollgate Primary. A brilliant batting performance from our team helped us get the victory over Tollgate and put Manor into 2nd place in our group. Unfortunately, it wasn’t enough to qualify for the semi-finals but our children left with their heads held high.
