On Friday 28th April, the school community joined together to celebrate and learn about the Islamic holy month of Ramadan and one of muslims most special days – Eid Al-Fitr. As a proudly diverse and multi-cultural school that reflects our strong community, children all over the school took part in learning activities to explore why this month and day is so special. Activities ranged from lsinging songs about Eid to researching what Ramadan is why it is so sacred to role-playing the actions Muslims carried out throughout Ramadan.
To commemorate what the children had learnt, the whole school took part in a sharing event to showcase what they had learnt. This event is just one way in which we learn about the different religions within our school and communities.
