On Wednesday 11th October, we once again welcomed parents and carers (some grandparents and older siblings too) to experience school life at our school. Many parents were amazed by the methods of teaching – very different to some of their own experiences. We had 127 children visited by parents and families which is great, and we know that the children really loved having you in class with them.
A number of parents stayed for the whole day – even experiencing school dinners – we’re sure you’ll agree that school meals have improved over the years!
This year, we also opened the doors to members of the public who were accompanied by the Senior Leadership Team so that they can see what their local school offers members of their community. The comments were very complimentary to the staff and pupils of Manor.
